We want our Mentees to know about all of the opportunities available to them!
Each month, Mentees & Mentors are invited to participate in Career/Entrepreneur, College, and Military Service Workshops.
And, M&M Talks ~ Mentees & Mentors are invited to an interactive discussion about a variety of topics designed to inspire and motivate. Plus, Mentees win prizes!
There's more! We partner with the El Paso Chihuahuas and go as a group to baseball games at the nation's best stadium. We attend musical performances at El Paso ProMusica. We also have game days at Top Golf.
Mentees learn how to balance studies, careers, every day life, and fun with role models who are dedicated to their success!

Which student organizations to join, how to get involved on campus, and what to look for and think about to insure college success.
Carlos A. Martínez was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and is a product of both public and private education; having attended public school from Pre K to 8th grade and private school from 9th grade forward. Carlos graduated from high school in 2014 from Radford School and from St. Edward's University in Fall 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
While at St. Edward's, Carlos served as a Resident Assistant, Senator, Chief Financial Officer, and as Student Body Vice President through the Student Government Association, and played in the University Orchestra. He also interned at the Texas State Capitol for State Representative César J. Blanco during the 84th and 85th Legislative Sessions, volunteered with Special Olympics Texas, the National Hispanic Institute, and at various citizenship workshops.
Upon graduating from St. Edward's, Carlos was hired by Representative Blanco to serve as his Field Representative in El Paso and is presently employed by the Representative. Carlos also serves as Secretary for the El Paso Young Democrats and enjoys attending El Paso Symphony Orchestra concerts as often as possible.
Carlos is happy to be back in El Paso serving his community and enjoying time with his family. It is his intent to attend graduate school to obtain his Ph.D. in Political Science and become an educator.
