DENISE AMADOR has been a firefighter for 15 years and currently serves the Fort Bliss Fire Department as a Lieutenant and union President for the Men and Women of IAFF Local F-299 Professional Firefighters.
Denise is honored to represent the firefighters that have chosen to ensure a safe working and living environment at Fort Bliss. She has a strong focus on building Local F-299 into a body that is influential and effective both in the local community and for the federal government in regards to public safety issues.
Denise is involved in giving back to her community and her bothers and sisters in the fire service with her time by representing them and fighting for safer working conditions and benefits. She also organizes charity events that allow members to make a difference in the community.
Denise is a graduate of one of the first graduating classes of the El Paso Community College Fire Technology Program and a former Horizon City Volunteer Firefighter, where her love for the fire service began.
Denise is an El Paso native and passionate about helping her community. She has a strong sense of service for others and believes in standing up for those who can't or don't know how to. She loves giving back and helping people in any way possible - time, money or acts of kindness.
